Falling UP Wee Glen is a spin-off from our Falling UP Wooers' Alley project. In spirit this project links to attempts by a local community group to create a 'Paton Trail' (named after the renowned Paton family of Dunfermline) around the Wooers' Alley site. The 'Wee Glen' historically refers back to the lay of the land in Dunfermline which linked the Pittencrieff Glen through Wooers' Alley up to what is now Golfdrum Street. Our project traces the 'Wee Glen' and its past landmarks using digital art, an 'art-run', photography, recorded story-telling and linking participants' memories of their lives in Dunfermline as infrastructure has changed.
